In May, Athlone IT celebrated their first group of graduates from the Refugee Online Education programme (ROLE). All of the graduates are residents of the direct provision centre in Athlone and completed various MOOCs (online courses) in their personal areas of interest. If any other group would be interested creating a similar ROLE programme in their area, AIT will gladly give all relevant documentation over to get them going.
