This is an opportunity for young people aged 18-25 who are seeking asylum or have refugee status to achieve a Gaisce Award, and fees have been waived for participants.

Gaisce or ‘great achievement’ is a self-development programme for young people and has been in existence since 1985. Gaisce enhances confidence and wellbeing through participation in personal, physical, community and team challenges. It is a proven catalyst in the enhancement of positive, psychological attributes of hope, happiness, self-efficacy, self-esteem and well-being.

Wavelength is interested in engaging with new Gaisce Award Partners and support their new President Award Leaders [PALs] and their participants in relation to all aspects of the award programme. PAL Training dates are available here.
