DCU College Connect hosted an online information event for refugees, asylum seekers and protection applicants who are interested in higher education in Ireland on Friday 22nd January 2021. Around 30 people attended the event.
Topics covered include the following:
- How to Apply – Central Applications Office CAO
- Funding and Financial Supports
- College Preparation Courses
- Questions & Answers with current students
Many people expressed the desire to attend universities outside the counties they currently reside in.
A similar event will run again in March around the same topics.
