“Places of Sanctuary stand firmly in solidarity with the Indian community in Ireland in light of the recent assaults they have faced, as well as with all migrants and minority communities who experience violence, discrimination, or intimidation. Our thoughts are with everyone affected by these acts and with those who live in fear because of their identity.
No one should have to endure such harm. Everyone has the right to safety, dignity, and peace. Ireland’s diversity is a source of strength, and we remain committed to being a welcoming home for people of all backgrounds.
Guided by our Sanctuary principles — Learn, Action, and Share — we will continue to challenge prejudice, promote understanding, and work together for a kinder, more inclusive Ireland where everyone is treated with respect and humanity.”
